OMG It's now REALLY over. I realize that nothing was really clear about the end. I just wanted to wrap things up as quickly as possible so some of the clearity was lost in the hastiness of the process. So here's a final image with the answers to MOST of your questions.
In this image Gaara and Sakura are OLDER than in the rest of the comic. It's a future image. But that's easily deduced from the pic.
The BLOOD seen in the last page of the comic is a result of the love tattoo you now see on Sakura's chest. They match now, isn't that cute?
She DIDN'T die. I TOLD you she didn't die but ya all asked anyway. NO DIE. That would be a terrible gaaraxsakura comic if she died in the end, now wouldn't it?
The teddie bear was a symbolic representation of Sakura's (and Gaara's in the beginning) innocence. The loss of a teddie meant the loss of innoncence.
Gaara did NOT rape sakura... then. I'm sure he eventually... uh... consumated their relationship in a sexual manner. But not right then... sex was most likely beyond his mental abilities at the time. He was one crazy mo fo.
The image in the story book is not of an Akatsuki member. Please look closer before asking me this. This question's been posed several times and I would like to point out that if you really look at it you will see that the person in the image does not wear an Akatsuki cloak but some armor. He's just a random knight that I had drawn and placed in the comic at a whim. He has no significance to the story at all. None.
But for now I am done. If I forgot some of your questions or you have more just ask and I'll answer them right here (and in your comment) so everyone will know.
