It was my first. My policy violation cherry has been popped! Good for me! So my birthday present to Silv was removed because it was “inappropriate”. Which I guess I can see, although I never actually said he was doing what we all know he was doing. And I covered up him doing what we all know he was doing. And I’m ok with that, really. But then I got a message and it said this:

“Upon review a member of staff determined that the characters depicted in a nude or erotic fashion in this deviation are established as being underage. Removed as violation of policy.”

Now I know damned well that the image said that Jack was over 18 in that image. What is wrong with DA that they think just because a character is one age in canon we can’t change the age to suite our purposes? Oh gosh no, a character can’t age! That’s not right at all!

Now I love DA. I’m going to say that right now. I love it. But for God’s sake I am sick of this censorship nonsense. I mean, this is my first removed image so I’m not complaining over that. But I just think it’s ridiculous that we can make an image mature rated, make it so that no one under 18 can see it, and it can still be deleted for being “inappropriate”. That just doesn’t seem right to me. And I know, I know, I joined DA and agreed to the policy and all that jazz but honestly. It’s just annoying.

… I wonder who reported it? So… Sorry Silv. DA stole your birthday present.
